Description

Droidscape: Basilica is a unique, stop-motion animated puzzle game set in a grim electropunk future. It is also a game supporting the innovative, yet still experimental HeadTwister head-tracking controlls! In the year 4057, a power-hungry Ecclesiarchy has plunged humanity into a new Dark Ages. One of few remaining Chronomancers dedicated to preserving the secrets of time-travel has been taken hostage on the gargantuan Basilica space station, and if he dies, an already dark world will get a lot darker. Only a small, unarmed droid named Bishop 7 can save him - and only with your help.

History

The first concepts and prototypes for Droidscape: Basilica were created back in early 2012 and were mainly focused around the game's unique control method; drawing a route and have the in-game protagonist follow it via simple analog controls. Droidscape eventually evolved to Droidscape after artist Hariton Bekiaris joined the dev team, brought his artistic skills to the project, defined the game's visual style and helped determine its plot. The game is now, after over a year in development, ready and even supports head-tracking on iOS.
